Construction of Molo Academy's All-Boys Secondary Section
In 2013, Molo Academy underwent a significant transformation by dividing its primary and secondary sections, resulting in the relocation of the secondary section to a new site along the Molo-Kibunja road. Under the leadership of Mr. John Kamau, the new secondary section emerged as an all-boys school, while the primary section, now under the principal Mr. Mureithi (formerly the deputy), continued to serve a mixed student population. This strategic decision allowed for a more focused and specialized approach to education, tailoring the learning environment to the specific needs of students at each educational level.
The establishment of the separate secondary section was a pivotal moment for Molo Academy, enabling it to provide targeted instruction and support to students during their transition from primary to secondary education. Led by Mr. Joseph Kamau, the secondary section embraced its new identity and embarked on a journey to foster a dynamic and conducive learning environment for the male students. Simultaneously, the primary section, under the leadership of Mr. Mureithi, continued its commitment to academic excellence and holistic development for its mixed student body. Mr. Mureithi's extensive experience and dedication to education proved valuable as he took on the role of principal, following his retirement as the deputy. Together, Mr. Kamau and Mr. Mureithi played instrumental roles in guiding the growth and success of Molo Academy's secondary and primary sections, respectively.
