On September 15, 2023, students from the Young Parliamentarians club at State House Girls High School were granted a rare opportunity to visit the esteemed halls of the Senate of Kenya. This excursion was meticulously planned to enrich the students' understanding of national governance, leadership roles, and legislative procedures. During the visit, the students were honored to meet Senator Edwin Sifuna, a prominent figure in the Kenyan Senate. Senator Sifuna welcomed them warmly and shared his insights on policy-making and leadership.
