Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology (RVIST) extends a warm welcome to all students. Established in 1979, RVIST is dedicated to providing technical and vocational education at the tertiary level. Situated in Nakuru County, Kenya, our institute was founded with the vision of promoting education and development in the region. With ISO 9001:2015 certification, we offer a wide range of courses in fields such as agriculture, engineering, health sciences, information technology, and business studies. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for personal empowerment and contribution to national development.

Governed by the Ministry of Education, RVIST operates under the guidance of a Board of Governors, chaired by Mr. Harun Bomet. Led by our Chief Principal, Mr. S. K. Chemoiwa, our dedicated team ensures the smooth functioning of the institute. We have two campuses, providing full-time and part-time programs. Our nine departments offer Higher Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate courses. At RVIST, we strive to create an environment conducive to learning and personal growth, empowering students to succeed in their educational journey.
